Asphalt

    Specifications

    HS Code

    383167

Appearance black or dark brown viscous liquid/solid
Viscosity varies with temperature, high at low temps, low at high temps
Softening Point indicates transition from solid to viscous state
Penetration measures hardness, lower value means harder asphalt
Ductility ability to stretch without breaking
Flash Point temperature at which vapors ignite briefly
Fire Point temperature at which continuous burning occurs
Specific Gravity ratio of asphalt's density to water's density
Solubility dissolves in certain organic solvents
Aging Resistance ability to resist changes over time due to oxidation

As an accredited Asphalt factory, we enforce strict quality protocols—every batch undergoes rigorous testing to ensure consistent efficacy and safety standards.

    Packing & Storage
Packing 50 - kg bags of asphalt, securely sealed for safe storage and transport.
Storage Asphalt should be stored in a well - ventilated, covered area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Storage tanks should be made of materials resistant to asphalt's corrosive nature, like steel. To prevent hardening, maintain a temperature between 130 - 170°C. Keep it segregated from incompatible substances to avoid contamination and ensure proper fire - prevention measures due to its flammable properties.
Shipping Asphalt is typically shipped in bulk via tankers for large - scale transportation. For smaller quantities, it may be transported in drums. Special care is taken to maintain proper temperature during transit as asphalt is viscous and temperature - sensitive.
